NEW YORK -- Revlon was recently honored at a charity fundraising event to support the American Cancer Society's "Look Good ... Feel Better" program. George Fellows, president and chief executive of Revlon, accepted the award at the 15th annual DreamBall festivity here.
For the past 10 years, the DreamBall event has raised more than $16 million to support "Look Good ... Feel Better," a free national public service program that bolsters the self-esteem of female cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments. Participants are provided with complementary makeup kits and hands-on makeovers by volunteer makeup artists. Revlon is a major supporter of the Fight Against Breast Cancer program, as well as "Look Good ... Feel Better."
"Look Good ... Feel Better" was founded in 1989 as a public service program by the Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association in cooperation with the American Cancer Society and the National Cosmetology Association.
