A live question-and-answer chat with an expert on colon cancer will be offered by the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the world's largest organization of cancer doctors.
Daniel Haller of the University of Pennsylvania Cancer Center will discuss improvements in colorectal cancer detection and treatment, genetic susceptibility and testing, screening tests, risk factors, prevention tools and medical studies that patients can join.
The program will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Tuesday on the group's Web site for patients, People Living With Cancer (www.plwc.org).
