Breakdown of Prizing and Event
Selection of Winning Teams
Three (3) winners will be chosen from this contest page on 1UP.com
One (1) person will be chosen from the Official Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow fan club on 1UP.com
All randomly selected winners, who meet our qualifications, will bring one guest to be their teammate in the tournament.
Fifty (50) people will be randomly selected from the secondary sign up page to receive Splinter Cell t-shirts.
Twenty (20) people will be randomly selected from the secondary sign up page to receive a one year subscription to the Official U.S. PlayStation Magazine.
Game Play
The four teams will all meet in San Francisco for training on July 15th, 2004
On the morning of July 16th, 2004 the 4 teams will compete with each other in an elimination round tournament to decide on one final team to face Dan Hsu and his partner.
Each game will be ten (10) minutes long. To win the round, winners need to beat the other team in two (2) full matches.
Two (2) full matches is for every round including the final against Shoe's team.
Prizing
All four teams will receive a copy of the Tom Clancy game of their choice.
The $2,500 grand prize will only be awarded to the finalists if they beat Dan Hsu's team (each team member will receive a check for $1,250).
If they lose, each finalist team member will receive a $150 gift certificate to the PlayStation store.
If Shoe wins, the $2,500 cash prize will be donated to the Greater Bay Area Make-A-Wish Foundation.
