HAYWARD, Calif. - Certicom Corp. has released the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Plus for Embedded Systems, a product engineered for the demanding memory and performance requirements of embedded environments.
The product offers elliptical curve cryptography for security; client and server authentication; support for standard ECC X.509 v.3 digital certificates and commercial certificate authorities; standards- compliant security; and consistent APIs with all Certicom SSL Plus products. Platforms supported include the Palm Computing Platform and Windows CE. Platforms supported on request include EPOC32, QNX RTOS, WindRiver VxWorks and ISI pSOS.
