Then, on Monday, August 7, PlanetFeedback will announce two Golden Megaphone Award winners from among the qualified entries -- one for "Best Complaint" and one for "Best Compliment." Winners will choose from one of two dream vacations: 1) a vacation for two at the Grand Wailea Resort in Maui, rated the best spa resort in the world (prize includes accommodations, air transportation and $1,000 spending money); or 2) a $5,000 gift certificate to Travelocity.com for winners to invent their own dream vacations.

Entries will be reviewed and winners selected on the basis of clarity, passion, tone, impact, and overall effectiveness of the letter at conveying a complaint or compliment. Letters will be judged by a panel of customer service experts and consumer advocates, including PlanetFeedback founder and CEO Pete Blackshaw.
