Ibusuki Releases Nicholson Versus Strickler Print
James Ibusuki's newest lithograph, The Winternationals of 409, depicts the legendary Chevy Bel Air bubble tops of "Dyno Don" Nicholson and Dave Strickler's Old Reliable II facing off for the Mr. Stock Eliminator title at the 1962 Big Go West. By repeating his 1961 Pomona victory, Nicholson became an in-demand touring pro. Strickler and tuning ace Bill "Grumpy" Jenkins enjoyed tremendous success in 1962, which included an SS/S victory at the U.S. Nationals.
Complete with a certificate of authenticity, the limitededition (850) 13??34-inch lithograph costs $90 and is signed and numbered by Ibusuki.
