Open Retail key to expansion - News - Cromwell software - Brief Article
CROMWELL'S Open-Retail software, which is already being used by franchises in Selfridges, Harrods and Bentalls, is now being used in the new Harvey Nichols store in Edinburgh.
The sound and vision franchise is being operated by its customer Kelleyvision, which already has a 2,000 [ft.sup.2] concession in Harvey Nichols' Knightsbridge store and will be opening another in the Leeds store later this month. In 2003, Kelleyvision will be opening a further outlet in the new Harvey Nichols planned for Manchester. Kelleyvision also runs two outlets in and around Peterborough.
Roland Cooke, Kelleyvision's operations manager, said: "We wouldn't have been able to cope with all this expansion if we hadn't had Open-Retail on board. The system works well."
