Avnet Hall-Mark and StorageTek Intro Training Road Show
AVNET COMPUTER MARKETING'S HALL-MARK DIVISION A business unit of Phoenix-based Avnet Inc., and Storage Technology Corp. of Louisville, Colo., last week announced a 14-city storage road show for resellers to enhance knowledge of tape automation and data protection. The courses will provide sales tools and training to sell data protection products and services. According to officials for the companies, the road show is designed for sales professionals that have basic knowledge of storage and IS operations.
The courses will be offered in major cities throughout the country, including, Tempe, Ariz.; Denver; Dallas; Atlanta; Columbus, Ohio; Chicago; Philadelphia; Orange County, Calif.; Santa Clara, Calif.; Boston, Orlando, Fla.; Miami; Charlotte, N.C.; and Washington, D.C. The tour will begin Sept. 6 and end on Nov. 8.
"We want our reseller partners to feel confident in discussing the many hardware and software options with their customers regarding data protection," said Ray Fischer, executive vice president Avnet Hall-Mark storage business unit. "These seminars are designed to help resellers grow their storage business by selling automation and completing the solution for their customers."
