Platforms and training for DOS, Macintosh - available from Elan Computer Resources Inc., Logical Operations Inc. and Individual Software Inc - brief article



MONTREAL - Training products are now available through Elan Computer Resources Inc. to organizations upgrading to Microsoft DOS 5.0 and the Macintosh System 7.0.

Logical Operations of Rochester, N.Y., has released two courseware products which cover all versions of DOS, entitled Hard Disk Management in DOS and DOS: Advanced Topics. A Starter Package for each course, which costs $1,195, consists of an instructor's kit, 12 student manuals, data diskettes and a two-year free instructor kit upgrade service.

Professor DOS 5.0, by Pleasanton, Calif.-based Individual Software, is a selfpaced computer-based training tutorial priced at $93. Also, four new video based training courses for System 7.0, developed by Danville, Calif.-based The Pollard Group, are sold in a two-tape set for $630.
