Dell computer corp

Austin, TX-based computer manufacturer/marketer Dell Computer Corp. appointed James T. Vanderslice to a senior advisory role as vice chairman of the company, in advance of his planned retirement at the end of next year. Kevin B. Rollins, who previously shared president and chief operating officer roles and duties with Vanderslice, is now the sole holder of those titles.
