GB Micro adds notebook storage line - Company Business and Marketing - Brief Article
MONTREAL -- GB Micro Electronics Inc. added a line of storage peripherals for notebook computers from Addonics Technologies of Fremont, Calif., to its distribution business. The line includes CD-ROM drives, CD Rewriters, DVD drives, Zip drives and Superdisk drives.
The Addonics drives are available with either a PCMCIA or USB/Macintosh interface. They are compact and offer plug and play capability, the company says.
Addonics also provides the Pocket ExDrive line. ExDrive can be purchased as an external hard drive for notebooks, with a choice of PCMCIA, card bus or USB interface, or for use with desktop computers in a configuration that includes an external drive, ExData PRO software and desktop drive cradle.
