Once again, Alberta RN is pleased to provide members with a summary of data reported by AARN members for the 2003 registration year. The following statistics reflect AARN membership as of Sept. 30, 2003.

For the first time since the introduction of online renewal, AARN is providing the service to members throughout the membership year. This extension of the service will particularly benefit those members wishing to renew their registration and return to work after a period of leave.

In addition to AARN's 26,604 registered nurse members, our membership includes an additional 2,305 members in the following categories: certified graduate nurse, associate, RN (retired), honourary member, initial non-practicing, limited temporary permit, temporary permit and student.
