The World Health Organisation (WHO) has decided to lift its travel advisory for Toronto, prompting Air Canada to announce special fares.

The airline is offering special fares designed to encourage travel to Toronto over the Victoria Day holiday weekend, which runs between 15 and 20 May. The special discounted fares to Toronto are available for purchase between 30 April and 14 May from all 80 cities in the continental US. The tickets do not require any advance purchase or minimum stay, and cover travel with Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and on a codeshare basis with Star Alliance partner United Airlines.

Air Canada has also waived its fuel surcharge on the special round trip fares and those fares booked online at http://www.aircanada.com will feature an additional USD5 discount.
