The booking engine is just a mirror of the mainstream site with no gay-specific information: however, speed, functionality and navigation (not to mention industry clout) make Orbitz a true powerhouse. PurpleRoofs.com The only site tithe bunch with an interactive map (is the world really that mauve?), this is a superb directory. Though you can't book a room directly from the site, you can make reservation requests and link to official hotel and B&B sites for the final transaction. Mention Purple Roofs and you may end up with a 5% to 10% discount. Grade: A
