A new web site for ticket sales is to be launched by a group of eight to ten European airlines soon.
A spokesperson for Air France told Dow Jones that the new virtual travel agency is likely to include the participation of carriers such as British Airways, Lufthansa and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines.
A similar project is apparently underway involving US carriers.
